Mercedes-AMG Willing To Add Hybrids Until The End Of The Decade
by AllAutoExperts | 17 April, 2020
According to Tobias Moers, the director of Mercedes-AMG, the German automaker will implement electrification for its future models.
They've already started their plan with the future AMG hypercar with its Formula 1-derived powertrain. The end of the decade might surprise us with more effective hybrid models, too.

Moers has stated that if there will ever be an electric powertrain or an AMG hybrid, it will happen after 2020. He also mentioned that the automotive industry is highly developed now, especially if we refer to electrification and hybridization of drivetrains. It's good to know that the electrification provides additional efficiency in another mode.

It's pretty wise to introduce models with hybridization for Mercedes-AMG as they get more power first of all and also they become more fuel-efficient.

Mercedes-Benz is not the only brand considering adding electrification. BMW has recently announced its intention to do that, too. Get ready and wait for a possible great competition between efficient hybrids.
