Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance Hits The Market At $83,900

This spring, dealers in the United States will begin stocking the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance, which will have a starting price of $83,900. The rear-mounted electric motor, 6.1 kWh battery pack, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and fully adjustable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system are among the model's impressive features.

This configuration allows the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance to produce 671 horsepower and 752 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, the sports sedan can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.3 seconds.

With their feet firmly placed, drivers will reach a maximum speed of 155 mph or 174 mph. Also, the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance can go a short distance on electric power alone, but the EPA hasn't released measurements just yet. Along with an adjustable damping AMG Ride Control suspension, dynamic engine mounts, and composite brakes, these are other features of the performance sedan.

Eight distinct driving modes and a rear axle steering system enable the vehicle to turn the wheels up to 2.5 degrees. Featuring a Panamericana grille, a charging outlet on the back fender, and a four-tailpipe exhaust system, this model has an aggressive front look. You can choose from a range of available options, including the AMG Performance Design Package.

This package “emphasizes the vehicle’s highly dynamic character with 20-inch forged wheels, red brake calipers, AMG Track Pace, an elevated top speed, and even more aggressive exterior styling—from the rear diffuser blade to larger flics on the front fascia, side skirt inlets, and outer grooves on exhaust tips.”  The AMG Night and Carbon Fiber kits are available in two distinct varieties for customers.

The interior has AMG sports seats that are heated and electrically adjustable, as well as microfiber upholstery and MB-Tex. Upgrades to seats upholstered in Nappa leather or AMG Performance are available. On the same side as the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and AMG Performance steering wheel is the 11.9-inch infotainment system, which comes with a number of displays tailored to AMG and hybrid vehicles.

One cannot imagine the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance without the panoramic glass roof, 64-color ambient lighting system, and Burmester 3D surround sound system with streaming music capabilities. For those looking for a little extra bling, the Pinnacle trim level includes projection-equipped Digital Light headlamps.
