Suzuki has just introduced a limited-edition Jimny LCV in Germany. The ICE Suzuki Jimny is being phased out with the release of this limited edition. There will be a strict 900-unit cap on the Suzuki Jimny Horizon. But what makes it unique? Let's find out!

This limited edition model is only available in Medium Gray color with black graphics. The Horizon differs from the ordinary Jimny because of its matching side skirts, Suzuki-branded spare wheel cover, aluminum-style skid plate on the bumper, and retro-flavored Suzuki branding grille.

The package also includes a detachable trailer hitch for anyone interested in towing with the ladder-frame off-roader. A level floor and two seats are inside, so you can fit up to 863 liters (30.5 cubic feet) of stuff. The engine is the same old 1.5-liter gasoline unit with a recognizable intake that produces 101 horsepower and 96 lb-ft of torque. This engine can only drive all four wheels with a manual transmission.

Local pollution requirements compelled Suzuki to sell the Jimny only in LCV configuration in the European and British markets starting in 2021. For €32,340 ($35,000), the special Suzuki Jimny Horizon is available at several German Suzuki shops.

This modification allows for its conversion into a passenger car with back seats, all while meeting the strict pollution standards in Europe. An all-electric Jimny is in the works and should be available before 2030, according to Suzuki.
