Renault's latest venture, the Sound Truck, is a remarkable fusion of creativity and practicality. This innovative project transforms a Renault Master into a mobile recording studio, making professional music production accessible wherever the road leads.

Given the size and weight restrictions, the conversion was no easy task, but the teams at Red House, who are experts in acoustical design, and Procar, known for their bodywork mastery, accomplished it with skill.

Within the 9-cubic-meter rear compartment of the Renault Master, measuring 3,733 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width, and 2,048 mm in height, every inch of space has been thoughtfully utilized. The Renault Sound Truck's design ingeniously carves out two distinct spaces behind the driver's cab: a snug recording booth for vocalists and a well-equipped control room for sound engineers.

What sets this project apart is the painstaking effort to create lightweight soundproofing that adheres to France's B-category license regulations while still offering a top-notch recording environment. Each piece of equipment and material was carefully assessed for its weight before being integrated into the vehicle.

When you enter, the Renault Sound Truck welcomes you with warm wood and plush purple fabric accented by unique lighting. The producer's corner boasts a comfortable swivel chair, a bespoke desk housing studio monitors, a PC, and a console. Towards the back, a cozy couch with a pillow in the shape of Renault's logo offers a welcoming touch.

On the exterior, the black vehicle is adorned with eye-catching silver graphics and graffiti-style gold lettering. The Renault Sound Truck has already made waves, serving as the recording haven for five talented rap artists through the Give Me 5 initiative since spring 2023.
