As a 50th anniversary of Super Snake, Shelby American has decided to launch a new limited Anniversary Edition, dubbed Super Snake Mustang.
The reveal happened at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction and it had 2017 Super Snake Mustang provided in 500 units at a starting price of $69,995 MSRP.
The collaboration between Shelby American and Ford Performance regards the enhancement of the suspension and improvement of the braking system. These upgrades are possible thanks to big Wilwood rotors and six-piston calipers. The supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine delivers now 670 hp and, with additional superchargers, it can get to 750 hp.
According to Shelby, the right Super Snake will assure that the car reaches 60 mph in 3.5 seconds on pump gas and Michelin street tires. Each vehicle will come with a Shelby serial number and it'll be a part of an official registry.
The exterior of the remodeled Super Snake car is equipped with a new grille, tail panel, hood, front splitter, a diffuser, rear spoiler, and a lower rear splitter.
