Meet The New Samurai Motorcycle Concept

Designers Artem Smirnov from Belarus and Vladimir Panchenko from Ukraine have decided to prove one more time the great things and elements of Japanese forms in terms of design - minimalist nature, economical style, and absolute simplicity, materialized in the new Samurai motorcycle.

According to the two designers, the Japanese have always been original when it comes to design. This is a part of their culture and a way of being, along with origami and samurai spirit. Japanese brands are well-known for their sense of space and simplicity, but the designers think this is exactly what is missing from the design of Japanese cars and motorcycles.

These two automotive designers have created a concept dubbed Samurai. It's based on Zen esthetic principles. They implied as many straight lines as possible along with simple forms. They tried to get rid of the usual curved and rounded shapes met in European design or sharp modern edges.

The result of their work is simply amazing, as it succeeded to bring together all the elements and creating an esthetic concept that goes back to the roots of Japanese traditions.
