Meet The Archimedes Sting: The Electric Military Vehicle For Every Threat Level

This is a surprise for everyone: meet the military-grade Tesla Cybertruck, the Sting. Archimedes Defense, and Up.Fit has reimagined military vehicles with this bold new design. Specifically, it's a government- or civilian-use apocalypse-ready vehicle based on the famous Tesla truck. However, since electric military vehicles have their limits in certain conditions, the companies are developing three different variants to cover all bases.

The Sting Baja's AMP Drive G125TM aviation-derived 800V genset is installed on the trunk and is capable of running on jet fuel, diesel, or biodiesel. It can charge 125 kW of electric vehicles, including the Cybertruck.

Unplugged Performance will offer an off-road mod package for the Sting Baja, incorporating several unnamed components. Soon, an amphibious package will be available. For those more daring adventures than your trip to Whole Foods, we have the Sting Protector.

The Sting Protector includes "bolt-on, bolt-off external offset steel armor plating" in addition to the previously announced off-road kit. The second one can take hits from a 7.62 mm assault rifle.

Private citizens, businesses, and public agencies in "moderate threat environments" are the intended users of the Sting Protector. Therefore, it will be available with or without the generator. The Sting APC rounds out the series, expanding upon the Protector with mine and IED (improvised explosive device) immunity.

Its steel and ceramic armor coating may also absorb the 14.5 mm heavy machine gun fire. This model is ideal for high-threat environments; however, keep in mind that the generator will add extra costs.
