McLaren unveiled a new entry-level model to rival directly with Porsche 911 and Audi R8 V10!

British vehicle, nicknamed baby McLaren, was revealed in a debut video. It is equipped with a 570 horsepower engine and can surprise you with a sprint to the first hundred in just 3.1 seconds.

The new model is called McLaren 570S, "in honor of" the 570 HP extracted from the same 3.8 V8 engine that runs on the P1 supercar. Engineers have reduced their performance, thus creating a new model that would compete with the Porsche 911 and recently launched Audi R8 V10. In the future, it is planned to launch the 540S model, intended for customers in China and it will provide only 540 HP

Thanks to ultra-lightweight components, the British managed to reduce the total mass to 1,313 kg and axle weight distribution ratio of 42:58. The new McLaren 570S proved to be a fierce rival for Lamborghini Huracan or even Ferrari 458.

In terms of design, model 570S shares common features with other models from the British manufacturer but the interior is somewhat different. The cockpit is driver-oriented, is leather upholstery is ubiquitous combined with contrasting seams and carbon fiber elements. The designers opted for a multimedia system Bowers & Wilkins, capable of squeezing 1,280 watts from 12 speakers. There is also a touchscreen display with a vertical layout reminiscent of the leader in electrically powered cars: Tesla Model S.
