Maserati Alfieri Concept which has managed to travel from just being a concept to a pretty real car really quickly.

After having been presented to the world for the first time at the Geneve Auto Showroom in 2014, Lorenzo Ramaciotti, the man behind this car, has made some strong hints about this car becoming real in 2016-2017.

His hints have proven to be trustworthy, since Maserati has made an official statement, in which it confirms that the Coupe will definitely enter the production next year and it will also include a Cabrio version, in 2017.

The concept will, of course, be improved, but unlike many other concept cars, it will preserve that fantastic air that has conquered everybody's hearts.

The full version can brag with a 4,7 liters engine, with natural aspiration, producing 460 hp and a V8, reminding us of a Maserati GranTurismo. Maserati Alfieri comes in three different versions, with various powering options: a V6 with 450 hp, 450 hp, or 520 hp, with different engine positioning and additional plug-in hybrid systems.

It is believed that all of the three versions will be having 2+2 seats, with a minimalist design, leather seats, board computer, and console. The design will be Maserati 500GT inspired, and it will be enriched with TFT - Thin Film Transistor, which is the new digital boom!

The name Alfieri is actually to be understood as a tribute to the most prominent Maserati brothers, as the car producer is celebrating a century of auto projection and production.
