In a celebration befitting a 26-year-old icon, Lincoln has introduced the Black Gold Edition of its esteemed Navigator luxury SUV. This special edition is a head-turner, thanks to its striking black-and-gold two-tone exterior and the exclusive Knight logo adorning the C-pillar.

Based on the Navigator L, this Special Edition boasts an impressive length of approximately 221.9 inches from front to back. Lincoln has adorned this SUV with the Presidential Edition package, which means the Black Gold Edition glides on elegant 22-inch aluminum wheels, features LED matrix headlights, and showcases a silver matrix grille.

Inside, the Lincoln Black Gold Edition offers a seven-seater configuration, spread across a 2+2+3 seating arrangement. Long-wheelbase cars have always found favor with Chinese customers due to their spacious interiors and extended legroom.

Front-row passengers are treated to leather-lined seats with a remarkable 30-way power adjustment, memory settings, and five distinct massage modes. These seats also provide heating and cooling options for ultimate comfort. Lincoln hasn't forgotten the middle-row passengers, offering heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the captain's chairs, along with a convenient 5.8-inch touchscreen.

The cabin of the Navigator's Black Gold Edition exudes luxury, featuring rich Venetian leather and offering a choice of interior themes. For example, the "Central Park" theme incorporates Emerald Green leather and wood veneer, while the "Modern Yacht" theme combines Gulf Blue leatherwork with white stitching and piano black veneers.

Among the exclusive features is the Revel Ultima 3D sound system with a staggering 28 speakers, providing an immersive audio experience. Additionally, the Black Gold Edition offers several Level 2 semi-autonomous driver assists for added safety and convenience.

Under the hood, Lincoln continues to rely on the potent 3.5-liter V6 engine, delivering 400 horsepower, 510 lb-ft of torque, and a brisk 0-60 mph acceleration in less than 6 seconds, with a top speed of up to 115 mph.

While the Black Gold Edition may not be destined for the USA, it's clear that Lincoln is catering to the tastes of its Chinese customers with this exceptional release. This isn't the first time Lincoln has introduced a special edition in China; last year saw the limited-edition Navigator One, with only around 30 units available.
