When it comes to SUVs, golf fans are all about those big, comfortable rides, and Lexus knows it. That’s why they teamed up with Malbon, a fancy golf brand, to create the 2024 GX 550 Malbon Edition. This one-off special will tour the golf circuit for the rest of the season.

So, what makes it special? Firstly, the Lexus GX 550 Malbon Edition features a green-themed wrap that resembles a topographic map of a golf course fairway.

It’s even got custom Malbon Edition badges. Lexus kept things intriguing with a white roof and matching white wheels. There’s also a roof rack, which really adds to the adventure vibe and can hold a couple of Pelican boxes—perfect for stashing golf clubs, especially the longer ones like drivers.

There's also a black Yakima side awning in case you need some shade. The GX also got a few tweaks inside. The second row now has captain’s chairs, and they replaced the third row with a pull-out storage box. This thing’s big enough to hold four golf bags, along with all the essentials—balls, tees, shoes, towels, you name it. Lexus and Malbon even threw in some custom steel scuff plates for that extra touch of class.

According to Lexus marketing manager Nicole Peterson, this GX is “a golf outing to remember.” Between the custom wrap, the storage box, and all the little Malbon details, this SUV blends luxury with a love for the game. It’ll be at events like the Oregon Buckets Club Golf Tournament, Road Atlanta’s IMSA Petit Le Mans, and the Lexus Malbon Invitational, to name a few.
