Last Call For The Ford GT Mk IV: A Track Monster With No Apologies
by AutoExpert | 19 August, 2025
Ford is closing the chapter on its track-only GT with the third and final wave of the Mk IV, and if you’ve been waiting for one last chance to grab this monster, time is running out. Built with Multimatic Motorsports, the Ford GT Mk IV takes everything the GT was and dials it up to a full race car.
The aero package looks outrageous, with a splitter big enough to scrape speed bumps in another country, canards sharp enough to cut you, aero discs that scream Le Mans, and a rear wing so large it could host a picnic. Together, the setup produces more than 2,400 pounds of downforce at 150 mph, practically welding the car to the track.

Inside, there’s no luxury to distract you. The cabin trades leather and comfort for focus and function. A new steering wheel, stripped panels with pull straps, a proper roll cage, and extra driver displays set the tone.

Underneath, a Roush-Yates-built twin-turbo 3.8-liter EcoBoost V6 pushes out more than 820 horsepower. It’s paired with a six-speed racing gearbox and supported by Multimatic’s clever Adaptive Spool Valve suspension, the kind of hardware that keeps the chassis locked in when cornering at absurd speeds.

Only 67 will be built, with most already spoken for. Ford is now taking final orders, but buyers need to commit by October 15. Each car comes with an exclusive track experience, including a personal shakedown by factory driver Scott Maxwell, pro coaching, and a full day of factory support to help new owners unleash the Ford GT Mk IV to its limits. We think you already get the point. This car doesn’t care about massage seats or stitched leather. Its only luxury is speed.
