Land Rover Discovery Sport: the possible replacement of the Freelander SUV!

When he unveiled the concept Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept, the Brits announced its intentions to expand substantially the range of SUVs. Specifically, Land Rover will offer new body variants of the future Discovery, anticipated by Vision concept.
The manufacturer has announced a model that will be called Discovery Sport and will be a completely new premium product, compact dimensions, and the first member of an extended family Discovery.
The releasing date has been fixed for 2015, but further details were not provided, and the officials have left only to realize that the car will take over the design lines of the Discovery Vision Concept.
There are rumors that Discovery Sport will be a replacement of the Ancient Freelander 2. These details already argue that the SUV will use the LR-MS platform in an extended version and the range of engines will include a variety of four-cylinder units from the Ingenium range.
