Kia PV5 Electric Van Is Coming Soon, And It Looks Seriously Cool
by AutoExpert | 20 February, 2025
Kia’s PV5 electric van is getting real, and it’s looking just as bold as the concept that debuted at CES. Ahead of its official global premiere on February 27, Kia has revealed the production version, and—good news—it barely strays from the original design.
Both passenger and cargo versions of the Kia PV5 are coming, and while they share the same overall styling, there are some key differences. Up front, both models rock a futuristic face with sharp, vertical LED daytime running lights that extend from the windshield down to the bumper.

No grille here—just a charging port smack in the middle. The main headlights sit on either side of it, giving the van a clean, modern look. Other than that, the Kia PV5 has massive windows, making the cabin feel light and open.

The production model also gets chunky door handles, which weren’t on the concept. The cargo version, however, skips the rear side windows and instead gets twin side-opening rear doors for easier access. The rear design is more traditional, with tall vertical taillights and big cargo doors—nothing too wild there.

The Kia PV5 will come in multiple configurations beyond just passenger and cargo models, including custom conversion options for different needs. So far, Kia hasn’t shown off the interior or shared powertrain specs, but with the official debut just weeks away, we won’t have to wait much longer to get the full scoop.
