Kia has unveiled the all-new GT version of the facelifted EV6, demonstrating that this is not your typical electric crossover. The GT, which makes its debut in Korea, enhances every aspect of the original model, incorporating new styling, significant technological advancements, and a potent powertrain.

The refreshed EV6 finally brings us the GT version, which was first teased alongside the standard and GT-Line trims. This isn’t just a slight makeover—it’s a performance-packed flagship that promises to steal the spotlight.

Visually, the 2026 Kia EV6 GT leans into its sporty nature with an exclusive set of 21-inch alloys wrapped around lime-green brake calipers. It’s a sharp contrast to the sleek, sharp lines and slimmer LED lights that flow through the bodywork. A closer look reveals more cool details, like a unique pattern on the bumper intakes and a redesigned rear diffuser with vertical reflectors. The color palette, too, adds to its presence, with standouts like Wolf Gray, Snow White Pearl, and the striking Yacht Matte Blue.

Stepping inside, the GT-exclusive “Black & Neon” theme mixes black leather and suede with lime-green accents that match the exterior. The high-tech cockpit features dual 12.3-inch screens, augmented reality navigation, and a reworked steering wheel. For extended road trips, the sports bucket seats offer 8-way power adjustment, heating, and ventilation.

Under the hood, the GT’s not playing around. The dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup churns out a whopping 601 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque, with a temporary boost pushing that to 645 hp 568 lb-ft. It’ll rocket from 0-62 mph in just 3.5 seconds—launch control on standby, of course.

What really sets the EV6 GT apart is its Virtual Gear Shift system. Inspired by the Ioniq 5 N, this feature adds some internal combustion-style flair to the driving experience, simulating gear shifts and torque modulation with sound effects. Other performance goodies include an electronically controlled suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD) to make sure this EV stays glued to the road when the rubber meets it.

As for the range, the EV6 GT’s new 84 kWh battery gives it a decent bump, reaching 221 miles on Korea’s testing protocols. Expect slightly lower EPA figures when they’re officially out, but it still supports 350 kW fast charging, juicing up from 10-80% in under 18 minutes. Already available for order in Korea, the 2026 Kia EV6 GT will be hitting North America in the first half of 2025.
