Kia Carnival Now Comes In A Four-Seat Variant With A Foot Massager

With a length of 5,155 mm (203 inches), the current Kia Carnival (RIP Sedona) may carry up to 11 passengers. The minivan is available in a somewhat longer spec for the luxury Hi-Limousine variant in its home market of South Korea, measuring 5,200 mm (204.7-inches). We've already discussed the fancy version, but there's now an even more opulent one that skips the middle row.

The vehicle in question is a huge minivan with only four seats. It retains the three-row Hi-Limousine configuration's high roof and has additional features, the most notable of which is a foot massager similar to that found in an Audi A8. Because the flagship Carnival is laden with a kit, including an air purifier and a 21.5-inch display set on the higher ceiling, the "limousine" aspect of the vehicle's name is appropriate.

The four-seat Carnival Hi-Limousine has everything you might desire in a minivan, from heated/cooled cup holders to pleated drapes. To create a relaxing ambiance, the elevated roof has LED ambient lighting, and all of the lights inside the cabin have light-emitting diodes too.

A 3.5-liter gasoline engine with 290-hp and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) or a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 199-hp and 325 lb-ft produces power (441 Nm). Due to the roof bulge, Kia fits the Carnival Hi-Limousine with 19-inch wheels and notes that the minivan's height is enhanced by 305 mm (12-inches) to 2045 mm (80.5-inches).

As you may expect, this isn't the cheapest van available. The nine-seat model starts at 60.66 million won ($53,000), while the seven-seat model starts at 63.88 million won ($56,000). Upgrading to the four-seat configuration for 88.26 million won ($77,000), which is a significant difference from a base US-spec Carnival, which starts at $32,100.
