KG Mobility, formerly SsangYong, has introduced the new Actyon in Korea, expanding their SUV lineup. Built on the Torres chassis, the Actyon features a sleek coupe-style design. An extended KG Mobility Torres with a Range Rover Velar-inspired back characterizes this new version, which departs from the appearance of its predecessor. And that's a good thing!

So what's interesting here? New bumpers, a sloping back window, and unique LED lighting are among the ways in which it differs from the already-mentioned Torres.

All trim levels come standard with 20-inch alloy wheels. With a wheelbase of 2,680 mm (105.5 inches), the KGM Actyon has dimensions of 4,740 mm (186.6 inches) in length, 1,920 mm (75.6 inches) in width, and 1,680 mm (66.1 inches) in height. It has the same wheelbase as the Torres but is longer, broader, and lower. Inside, the digital cockpit incorporates two 12.3-inch screens, one of which serves as an infotainment touchscreen.

Black, red, camel, or beige quilted leather with suede inserts accented with carbon fiber or black wood is available to choose from. Also included are 32-color ambient lighting, a crystal toggle-style gear change lever, a wireless charging pad, and a redesigned steering wheel with integrated controls. Additionally, the Actyon comes standard with a variety of ADAS features.

Most importantly, owners will have more space aboard the Actyon. KG Mobility boasts a spacious back seat and a roomy boot, capable of expanding from 668 lt (23.6 cubic feet) to 1,568 lt (55.4 cubic feet) upon folding the second row of seats. Both the Torres and the KG Mobility Action use the same framework. The same turbocharged 1.5-liter GDi four-cylinder engine that powers the Actyon produces 168 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque.

The six-speed automated gearbox directs power to either the front or all four wheels. In South Korea, you can get the KG Mobility Actyon for ₯33.95-36.49 million ($24,775-26,629). By year's end, export markets will welcome the new generation.
