Karma Automotive, once on the brink, has now made a dazzling comeback with their latest creation, the Kaveya. Unveiled with fanfare this weekend, the Kaveya stands as a symbol of exclusivity and desirability in the "super GT coupe" segment.

Marques McCammom, the charismatic President of Karma, shared his vision of the Kaveya and future models reigniting the world's passion for driving.

Showcased in Las Vegas, this coupe is more than just a concept; it's a fully-functional masterpiece with an elegant carbon fiber body. Its design harmoniously blends sleek curves with expansive surfaces, creating a visual spectacle.

Karma has been coy about the full details but has confirmed a few intriguing features: a panoramic glass roof, a retractable rear wing, and a rakish windscreen. A standout feature is the innovative headlights, elegantly hidden behind a sliding panel, which, when revealed, showcases a striking "target" lighting signature.

The Kaveya makes its mark with 19-inch wheels, optimized for aerodynamic performance and clad in premium Michelin tires. Its dimensions are as impressive as its looks: 187.7 inches long, 78.8 inches wide, and around 50 inches tall, with a 107-inch wheelbase. To put it in perspective, the Kaveya is slightly more compact than the BMW M8 but boasts a more imposing presence.

Under the hood, Karma promises an exhilarating all-wheel drive experience powered by a combined force of 1,180 HP and 1,270 lb-ft of torque. The 5,300 lb coupe is expected to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a breathtaking sub-three seconds, with a top speed nearing 180 mph.

The heart of the Kaveya is a robust 120 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive 250-mile range. Charging is quick and efficient, with a 10-80% charge achievable in just 45 minutes. Exclusivity is key, as evidenced by the limited production run of just 353 units, with reservations now open for a $10,000 deposit.

But that's not all from Karma Automotive. They've also teased the future Geysers model. This upcoming car is set to be more accessible and versatile, with over 2,125 units planned. Described as the first full BEV touring sedan, it combines lightweight aluminum with sturdy carbon fiber panels. In terms of size, it's a giant at 199.9 inches long with a 124.4-inch wheelbase.

The Geysers promises impressive stats too: a combined 590 HP and 693 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to dash from 0-60 mph in under 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 135 mph. It also features the same 120 kWh battery pack as the Kaveya but boasts a range that exceeds 250 miles.

The anticipation is building for Karma's lineup, with the Geysers set to debut late next year and an updated Revero following in 2024. The Kaveya range will expand further in 2025 with an entry-level variant featuring rear-wheel drive and 536 HP, followed by a top-tier model a year later. Karma Automotive's journey is a testament to innovation and resilience in the ever-evolving world of luxury electric vehicles.
