July, 6 Marks A New Bugatti Era

Bugatti’s future seems kind of uncertain. Porsche CEO, Oliver Blume, has stated that VW will soon decide on which out of Porsche and Rimac will be taking over Bugatti. The uncertainty will be ended on July 6, when the public announcement is planned to be made.

Besides that, we’re in for an electric Bugatti that will be launched at one point. The new Bugatti EV will probably feature some part of Rimac’s electric hypercar – Nevera. Meanwhile, Porsche, with its experience in electric Taycan, may supervise the entire process.

It was formerly said that Rimac might be the majority shareholder, with 55%, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Since it is an electric car, the wildest curves have been slightly smoothed, while the massive rear wing from Bolide has been completely excluded. Instead, Bugatti E has been embellished with thin headlights, similar to Chiron’s ones and a completely revised grille. 

As for performances, we envision this electric hypercar taking something from Nevera. Its electric motors, for example. All Nevera electric motors reach a little below 2.000 hp, while the first 60 mph are achieved in less than 2 seconds. Surely, Bugatti E will be an expensive treat.
