"Magnificent tiger," India’s national animal, symbolizes strength and beauty, with 70 percent of the world’s tiger population living within the country. In honor of this majestic creature, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has crafted its first-ever Indian-specific special edition of the Range Rover, limited to just 12 units.

Meet the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition, named after the famous Ranthambore National Park—a key sanctuary for tiger preservation in India. Designed by Range Rover’s SV Bespoke division, this exclusive model is based on the long-wheelbase Range Rover platform, blending luxury with a unique tribute to India’s wildlife.

The SV Ranthambore Edition exudes elegance with its custom deep black paint and striking "rich red shimmering effect." Corinthian Bronze accents enhance the grille, bumpers, side gills, mirror caps, tailgate, and badging, while Anthracite inserts mimic the tiger’s iconic stripes, adding a fierce yet refined aesthetic. The SUV sits on impressive 23-inch forged alloy wheels, finished in a Dark Gray hue with Corinthian Bronze inserts, giving it a bold presence on the road.

Inside, the luxury continues with a sophisticated blend of Caraway and Perlino semi-aniline leather, complemented by light linear wenge wood veneers and chrome detailing. The cabin also features white ceramic dials, adding a refined touch. Unique to this edition are custom cushions in the rear seats, embroidered with the special edition’s name, as well as intricate embroidery on the seatbacks. The rear passengers also enjoy a powered club table, deployable cup holders, and a small fridge complete with exclusive SV-etched glassware.

One more personalized detail: numbered side sills bear the "Ranthambore Edition" name, making each of the 12 vehicles feel truly special. Under the hood, the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is powered by the familiar turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine found in the Range Rover Autobiography, producing 393 hp and 405.6 lb-ft of torque. Though JLR hasn’t revealed the pricing for this tiger-inspired Range Rover, it has committed to donating part of the proceeds to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India, helping protect the very species that inspired this unique creation.
