Jiyue 07 Is Active On Roads, Sleek In Design

Meet the all-new Jiyue 07, the latest electric vehicle resulting from the Geely and Baidu partnership in China. Following closely behind the Jiyue 01, positioned as a direct rival to the Tesla Model Y, the 07 has already secured recognition as the iF Design Award 2023 and Red Dot 2023 design winner.
Taking on the form of a mid-size fastback, the Jiyue 07, although short on specific details, seems comparable in size to the Tesla Model 3. Drawing inspiration from its SUV counterpart, the Jiyue 01, the 07 showcases a modern, sleek, and stylish appearance.
A full-width LED light bar and an arresting black grille complement the LED headlights' distinctive shape, which dominate the front end. The gracefully flowing roofline and sculpted shoulder line enhance its appeal, with a full-length panoramic sunroof adding a touch of sophistication. Meanwhile, the taillights and light bar share a resemblance with the 01 and the MG 4.
A sneak peek into the interior unveils a wrap-around dashboard featuring a large central-mounted screen and minimalist design elements. Adding a dash of innovation, the Jiyue 07 features a yoke steering wheel.
According to reports from Chinese media and Car News China, the Volvo EX90, Volvo EX30, Polestar 4, Zeekr 001, Zeekr X, Zeekr 007, and Zeekr 009 all share the same SEA architecture with other Geely vehicles. Mirroring the Jiyue 01, the entry-level 07 boasts a 268 hp electric motor and a 71.4 kWh battery pack.
Meanwhile, the flagship model takes a step higher with a dual-motor setup delivering 536 hp, powered by a 100 kWh battery pack. At the end of the day, the Jiyue 07 is poised to make waves in the evolving landscape of electric vehicles.
