Despite the age of the current Mitsubishi Delica D:5, it remains an enticing canvas for tuners, and Vrarva, a sub-brand of Japanese tuner Kuhl, has just unveiled a striking new iteration of this minivan. The Vrarva Orcus presents itself as a refreshed take on the Mitsubishi Delica D:5.

Vrarva's comprehensive 16-piece body kit boasts wider fender extensions with angular design elements that stretch all the way to the sliding doors. These muscular fenders seamlessly blend with the reimagined front and rear bumpers, creating a fusion of robust and sporty aesthetics.

Then, the revised tailgate and grille now sport Vrarva branding in place of the Mitsubishi emblems. This minivan rests on a set of new 17-inch Vrarva DW01 wheels, wrapped in Dunlop Grand Trek AT5 all-terrain tires, ensuring strong traction on diverse surfaces. Under the hood, the Orcus is based on the diesel-powered Mitsubishi Delica D:5 4WD, featuring a 2.3-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder powertrain.

While there's no mention of any power upgrades, meaning the stock output of 143 hp remains unaltered. The suspension also offers an optional 4-inch lift kit for those looking to enhance the off-road capabilities of the Delica D:5. Currently, the Vrarva Orcus exists only in digital renderings, but the tuner plans to bring a physical prototype to life in the near future.

According to Kuhl, the Vrarva Orcus carries a price tag of ¥5,990,000 ($39,967) as a complete vehicle, and there's an option for a kit for existing Delica D:5 owners. The total cost for these modifications in Japan, which includes taxes and labor, amounts to ¥2,712,260 ($18,098). It's a bold and captivating take on the Delica D:5, designed for those who seek something truly distinctive.
