Introducing the VOOK e-Trike: A Classical Style Electric Trike with Modern Features

Make space for the new upcoming VOOK e-trike, boasting classical style and a pair of electric motors in the rear. VOOK e-trike and its developers are optimistic that it will become the next big thing in personal electric transport.

Customers can choose between a 30Ah battery or a 50Ah battery, offering range estimates of 80 and 110 miles, respectively. Though long rides on a trike can be taxing, VOOK mitigates this with a fast-charging battery that requires only 2.5 hours to charge fully.

The trike offers four driving modes: Safe (10 mph), Eco (15 mph), Sport (20 mph), and Boost/Extreme (40 mph). The frame, made from 6061 aluminum, supports "puncture-proof" tires and hydraulic disc brakes.

The fiberglass seat conceals the battery storage area, providing enough space to host a mini laptop. Potential clients can activate the VOOK using an integrated app for smartphones or with their fingerprint.

With a weight limit of up to 120kg (264.4 pounds), the fat tire on the front and the seat are designed to ensure a pleasant ride. However, the absence of suspension is noticeable.

Despite all the innovations, some buyers might find flaws with the VOOK e-trike. One pain point is the lack of suspension, which could make traveling over rough surfaces uncomfortable.

The "puncture-proof" tires' toughness is ambiguous, as VOOK does not explain how they manage to be so resilient. If the rear ones are rubber, vibrations through the frame may be increased. Additionally, the seating position could be challenging for some individuals, particularly those with joint issues.

Though the showcased prices by VOOK are subject to change, the unveiled prices start at 2,300 USD for a 30Ah battery and rise to 2,500 USD for a 50Ah battery.

We will continue to track VOOK's activity closely, and if everything goes as planned, trike delivery will commence this December.
