Molsheim, the illustrious house of Bugatti, is showcasing its outgoing W-16 powerhouse with yet another one-of-a-kind masterpiece in the months leading up to the premiere of the brand's newest model.

The breathtaking "Hommage T50S" Chiron pays homage to its 1931 inspiration, the Type 50S race car, and is based on the high-performance Super Sport version.

With a grid pattern embellishing the horseshoe grille and a "5" logo, this stunning Chiron Super Sport pays respect to its predecessor, drawing inspiration from Bugatti's rich racing history. The racing number is delicately hand-painted in white on the doors. Also, the profile ahead of the back wheels features an image from Le Mans 1931, while the active spoiler underneath shows the Circuit de la Sarthe layout.

Orange side marks on the wheel wells and an unknown owner's identity both point to a potential American link. The wealthy customer obviously wanted a Bugatti that reflected the house's legendary past—a black-on-black Chiron. The enormous quad-turbo 8.0-liter engine's cover is a nod to the Type 50S as well, with its Perlée gloss and ornamental engine turning effect resembling the Type 50S's circular patterns.

Storage compartments and knee guards on the center console, reminiscent of the famous design, carry over into the interior, carrying on the motif. The layout of the course is boldly illustrated, and the superb door cards have hand-applied representations of the 1931 racer. As a final touch, the headrests include the hand-stitched "Le Mans 1931" writing.

Featuring fixed panels with a laminated structure and four intermediate layers for a serene and pleasant cabin environment, this Super Sport is equipped with the optional Sky View glass roof, which adds 1.06 inches of headroom. Bugatti has been tight-lipped about the exact price of this one-of-a-kind vehicle. However, the standard Super Sport starts at $3,825,000 and goes up from there, depending on the upgrades and customizations you choose.
