Set to debut in 2025, the groundbreaking electric Fisker Ronin not only boasts a remarkable 600-mile range and an output of about 1000 bhp but also claims the title of the world's first convertible Grand Tourer.

Unveiled at the Fisker Product Vision event in California, this ultra-limited, four-door, five-seat GT is designed for those craving innovation and unmatched elegance, according to Fisker's boss, Henrik Fisker.

The rakish GT will derive its power from a triple motor setup, accompanied by yet-to-be-confirmed active aerodynamics. This exceptional vehicle also features an all-wheel-drive system aimed at delivering power under 1000 bhp, along with an astonishing 0-62mph time of just 2.0 seconds.

The development of Ronin has been undertaken at Fisker's new Magic Works facility in the UK, led by ex-Aston Martin special vehicles boss, Dave King. The design presents unique challenges, including the need for a robust lower rocker structure to compensate for the lack of a B-pillar, essential for sustaining side impacts.

Henrik Fisker is promoting a targeted 600-mile range for the Ronin, enabled by an innovative method of drawing power from a battery pack with cells integrated into the chassis.

Setting itself apart from conventional supercars, Ronin's convertible roof features a carbon fiber hardtop instead of cloth. Coupled with four butterfly doors, this design contributes to a "high-tech" luxury interior that promises to impress.

With ambitions to circulate more than one million electric cars by 2027, Fisker is laying the groundwork for extraordinary growth. The company aims to evolve into a million-car-per-year business beyond 2023, and the Ronin is undoubtedly a dazzling step towards that goal.
