A more powerful engine, more interior room, and other upgrades characterize the next edition of the Kicks, which Nissan has just presented. The new 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine that is particular to the 2025 Nissan Kicks produces 139 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque.

This represents an increase of 17 horsepower and 26 lb-ft over the previous generation's 1.6-liter engine. Nissan's latest Xtronic automatic transmission (CVT) and non-electrified powertrain enable the transmission of power to either the front wheels or all four wheels.

Another outstanding feature that is accessible across the lineup is the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. When coupled with the "Snow" driving mode and an 8.4-inch ground clearance, it enhances the model's skills for mild off-roading.

A more robust and boxier design language characterizes the 2025 Nissan Kicks. The front end showcases a large black-finished section that encircles the grille and harmoniously integrates horizontal LEDs. The profile's sporty greenhouse shape aesthetically connects to the back glass. In the back, LED taillights match the black accents seen on the Alfa Romeo Milano.

The dimensions of the 2025 Kicks are 171.9 in length, 70.9 in width, and 64-64.2 in height. For those interested, the wheelbase varies slightly between the two models; the front-wheel drive version has a wheelbase of 104.6 inches, while the all-wheel drive version has a wheelbase of 104.9 inches.

The new 2025 Nissan Kicks is up to 0.8 inches taller, 1.6 inches broader, and 2.8 inches longer than its predecessor. Plus, there's an extra 1.5-1.7 inches of shoulder room, 0.9 inches of legroom in the back, and a useful boot with an adjustable luggage rack and a secret storage space beneath.

In addition to a flat-bottom steering wheel, the dashboard has a digital cockpit. There are two 7-inch screens on the base model and a bigger 12.3-inch screen on the top trim. You may have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a wireless charging pad, and as many as four USB-C ports, depending on the trim level.

Nissan offers the 2025 Kicks in three trim levels: S, SV, and SR. Also, there are two premium options available to purchasers. These options include features such as a panoramic sunroof and a ten-speaker Bose audio system, with some speakers integrated into the front headrests. Nissan Safety Shield 360 ADAS Suite, which includes Intelligent Cruise Control, comes standard on all trim levels. The top-of-the-line SR model comes standard with the less basic but more advanced ProPILOT Assist technology.

We will reveal the price details closer to the launch, with sales in the US and Canada expected to start in late summer. However, the 2025 Nissan Kicks should cost more than its $20,790-base-model predecessor.
