Get ready to welcome the much-anticipated 2024 Chevy Blazer EV Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV), a machine that combines crime-fighting performance with advanced technology.

This brand-new police pursuit vehicle is a sight to behold, thanks to its aggressive, red-blooded design. It's a car many will admire on the road, but few will want to spot in their rearview mirror.

Tailor-made for high-speed pursuits, this 2024 police vehicle is equipped with state-of-the-art Brembo brakes, keyless entry, a rear camera mirror, and contactless ignition. Fresh additions to this model include certified speedometers, heavy-duty suspension, and underbody skid plates.

The PPV draws its power from a 400-volt all-wheel-drive setup, boasting an impressive 498 hp and 531 lb-ft of instant torque. The Ultium platform, with its low center of gravity, ensures dynamic handling, meeting the rigorous demands of law enforcement.

Powered by a 105 kWh battery, this ferocious Blazer has fast-charging capabilities that can add up to 71 miles of range in just 10 minutes or 141 miles in about 30 minutes. Plus, it offers a GM-estimated range of 250 miles with traditional emergency equipment.

An innovative feature is the "Protected Idle" mode: once the key fob is detected, the vehicle will start, and if removed, the car remains unblocked and powered, ready for rapid pursuit.

The Chevy Blazer RS AWD will lead the launch this summer, followed by the RS RWD and 2LT AWD models beginning production in the fall. However, don't expect to see this police pursuit vehicle until the first quarter of 2024.
