In Japan, the EV charging stations exceeded the number of gas stations!

Like it or not, but Nissan Leaf is currently the most popular electric vehicle in the world, registering respectful sales for an EV. Thus only in December 2014, there were 158,000 units sold worldwide. No wonder that in its native country, the number of electric charging stations have successfully passed the number refueling stations.

If you are a fan of the internal combustion engine with its V8 roar and cant change it for the humming sound of a microwave then we completely understand your frustration. However, the future belongs to such types of cars! And if we are very candid about an ecologically cleaner environment, then we should accept them into our lives.

We must recognize that electricity is cheaper and EV cars equipped with electric motors will become cheaper and easier to maintain. Or at least that is what world-renowned electric vehicle manufacturers as Nissan are trying to convince us. While the construction of a network of petrol stations can take years to set up, a network of electrical power supply takes a shorter time and is much simpler!

According to Nissan, quoted by Bloomberg, the number of charging stations for EV cars reached 40,000 while the number of gas stations is only 34,000! This is largely due to the new model Nissan Leaf, and if we take into account the expansion of Tesla then the situation will change even more in the coming years!
