It has been stated that Avatr's first SUV would not be released until the second quarter of this year. Avatr 11 is the name of this SUV. Guosheng Securities, a Chinese state-owned financial services corporation, corroborated the news as well.

On March 29, Avatr announced that all of the necessary preparations for mass manufacturing of the Avatr 11 had been finished. The SUV has already undergone winter testing in Yakeshi, Inner Mongolia. Avatr was founded as a partnership between Changan and Nio. It was introduced in 2018, but due to financial difficulties, Nio withdrew from the initiative.

Nio now holds only 1.14 percent of the company's shares. Changan (with 39 percent) and CATL (with 28.99 percent) are the two largest owners in Avatr Tech at the moment. The remaining is owned by several local and national investors.

CATL creates the battery pack and supporting software, while Changan oversees the overall look, development, and manufacture. Huawei is in charge of intelligent driving, networking, and entertainment hardware resources. Huawei also provides electric engines for the Avatr 11, even though it is not a shareholder in Avatr.

The Avatr 11 is a big SUV that is built on Changan's EP1 electric vehicle platform. The entertainment, networking, and other driver-assistance features are all integrated into the CHN architecture, which stands for "intelligent electric network." It was co-developed by Changan, CATL, and Huawei.

3 LIDAR sensors, 6 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 13 cameras make up the Avatr 11's autonomous driving system. Huawei's computing platform, which is able of 400 TOPS, serves as the system's brain.
The Avatr 11 has a wheelbase of 2975 mm and dimensions of 4880/1970/1601 mm. There are 4 and 5 seats available.
