In 2021, Caterham Set New Sales Records

There were 670 orders in 2021 for Caterham's compact sports vehicles, a 41% increase over the sales numbers in 2019. Even more, it outperformed its prior yearly record by three orders, making 2021 the finest year ever. 

“While 2021 saw plenty of challenges across the automotive sector, I’m delighted to announce such positive sales figures for Caterham,” stated Graham Macdonald, Caterham CEO. He added: “The experiences of the last two years have led many people to re-evaluate what they want out of life, meaning Caterham’s philosophy of driver-focused fun and thrillingly pure performance resonates even more clearly than before.”

Caterham's sales network in the United Kingdom was its most profitable, representing  37.6% of the brand's worldwide sales. Nevertheless, the corporation claims that sales were solid throughout the world. Last year, buyers in Portugal purchased more Caterhams than in the previous ten years together, while orders in Italy tripled from 2020, while in the United States, sales increased from 21 in 2019 to 49 in 2021.

The Seven 420 model was the most popular among clients in the United States and the United Kingdom this year, while the Seven 170 was a major hit last year. Furthermore, 8 months before the first race, the 2022 Caterham Academy season was completely booked, indicating a bright future.
