Imposing 05+ From Lynk & Co Gets 265 HP And Carbon Fiber Inserts

Lynk & Co 05+ is a sportier variant of the SUV that was initially exhibited in late 2019 for the Chinese market. The 05+ is distinguished from the standard model by a special brilliant green paint scheme that appears to have been taken directly from Lamborghini's color pallet.

The SUV also comes with unique athletic wheels that come in a range of coatings, including black, and add to the SUV's ferocity. The brake calipers have been given a brilliant green color as well.

A special front splitter, unusual side skirts, back bumper flics, a new rear diffuser, and a mounted rear wing are among the other features added by Lynk & Co to the 05+. Each of these elements, according to Car News China, is composed of genuine carbon fiber. Customized logos are also included on the outside of the 05+.

The cabin of the SUV has yet to be seen, but it's safe to presume that it's been modified with some unique components. The 05+, like the previous 05 models, is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. However, Lynk & Co has adjusted this motor to produce 265 hp and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque, increasing from 251 horses and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) in ordinary vehicles.

The motor is paired to an Aisin eight-speed automated manual gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels. There are no speed data available, although it is said to have a max speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).
