Ibiza-Inspired Land Rover Defender 110 Eivissa Sunrise: Six Exclusive Land Rover SUVs

Land Rover just introduced the Defender Eivissa Limited Editions, inspired by the vibrant Mediterranean island of Ibiza, known locally as Eivissa. The lineup includes two distinct configurations: the Defender 110 Eivissa Sunrise and the Defender 90 Noontide.

Only six of these special editions will be made—three for each model. Ibiza, known by its Catalan name Eivissa, has long been renowned for its vibrant nightlife and breathtaking natural beauty. Land Rover's Eivissa specials, fittingly, mirror the dynamic personality of the island.

You can only get your hands on one of these exclusives at the Destination Defender Ibiza event, which runs through September. The Sunrise model embodies Ibiza’s early morning vibe, sporting a bright yellow hue paired with sleek black details. Think of it as a nod to the island’s famous sunrises, after the all-night parties wind down.

On the other hand, the Noontide version features a calming light blue exterior with white accents, mirroring the blue Mediterranean waters and the island’s iconic white architecture. While the colors and badges are the standouts for these editions, Land Rover hasn't revealed much about what’s under the hood or the specific trim levels.

That said, the brand promises these limited-run SUVs come fully loaded, paying homage to Ibiza’s rich cultural and historical roots. Fun fact: the island’s ancient name "Iboshim," given by the Phoenicians, connects to the number six, a figure linked to the god Bess, who represents protection and well-being—hence why Land Rover chose to build just six units.

For fans attending the Destination Defender Ibiza event, activities include on- and off-road driving adventures, yoga, hiking, culinary experiences, and lively parties. Two of the Land Rover Defender 110 Eivissa Sunrise models will be on display, along with the V8-powered Defender OCTA.
