Mahindra introduced the XUV700, a tiny SUV that will replace the older XUV500 (2011-2021), as well as the brand's new logo and branding. In India, the new model offers a modern style and technology at a reasonable price beginning at 1,199,000 lakh ($16,168).

Rival companies include the Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari. The XUV700 is the first car to sport Mahindra's new "Twin Peaks" badge, which will be used on all passenger vehicles going forward. The lighting characteristic at the front has developed from its forerunner, with the C-shaped LED lights blending with the new grille.
