Honda has experienced significant growth in U.S. sales last year, with the Civic Hybrid securing the title of 2025 North American Car of the Year. The company recently shared a glimpse of its plans for the near future during a media briefing, highlighting several new and updated models set to hit the market.

Among the key announcements was the upcoming electric Acura RSX and the highly anticipated return of the Prelude coupe. The Prelude, arriving later this year, will feature Honda’s next-generation two-motor hybrid powertrain.

This system combines a newly developed 2.0-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine with dual electric motors. Honda's S+ Shift mode mimics gear changes without a traditional transmission, aiming to enhance the driving experience.

Honda’s SUV lineup is also getting a refresh. The redesigned Passport and Passport TrailSport are launching next month. The TrailSport variant is adventure-ready, equipped with steel skid plates, bright orange recovery hooks, off-road-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, and specialized instrumentation. Later this year, the CR-V will undergo a facelift, featuring an expanded lineup that includes a rugged TrailSport version. The HR-V will also see updates, focusing on styling and technology upgrades to keep it competitive.

Honda

On the luxury side, Acura has big plans. A refreshed Integra with updated styling and interior enhancements is on the way. Additionally, the new Acura ADX crossover will launch this spring, following its debut at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. Priced around $35,000, the ADX is expected to become a cornerstone of Acura’s lineup, helping the brand recover from a 9.1% sales decline last year.

Honda

Honda is targeting 1.35 million vehicle sales in the U.S. this year, up 4.5% from last year. Acura, meanwhile, is aiming for 160,000 units, a significant increase that signals a strong comeback. With a blend of exciting new entries, refreshed classics, and advanced technology, both brands seem poised for another successful year.
