At the 2021 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Honda will display seven vehicles, including two concept racing Honda Civic Si cars. To compete in the SRO TC Americas series, Honda developed the HPD Honda Civic Si Race Car, which is a "turn-key" race-ready version of the all-new warm sedan.

In addition to the Honda Civic Si racing prototype, there will be a unique one developed by Honda volunteers from various departments. NASA's Thunderhill 25-hour sports car event will be the first opportunity for the automobile to show off its capabilities.

Several changes have been made to the HPD Civic Si Race Car Prototype to make the new car race-ready. The prototype was made from a body-in-white shell, and while the motor is standard, it has a special tune and a huge radiator. A stronger fourth gear, a Cusco / HPD LSD, and a Borla / HPD uprated exhaust are among the other upgrades.

The Team Honda Research West Civic Si Competition Car, as it is officially named, will compete in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill race in December and will have a unique set of improvements. Aside from the Hondata motor tune, the car has an oil cooler, a bigger radiator, a bespoke intake, a titanium exhaust, a modified gear set, and Paragon brakes.

The Team Honda Research West car features a Seibon carbon bonnet and trunk, as well as an APR performance GT250 back ring and a Power Stream Industries bespoke splitter & air dam. HPD's Civic Si Race Car Prototype previews a ready-to-race offering whereas the Team Research car is a one-off. Pricing has not yet been announced.

Additional Honda Genuine Accessories has joined forces with HPD to make the all-new 2022 Civic Si even more athletic looking. To be ready for the SEMA Show in 2021, Honda created a custom sport sedan that features HPD insignia, muscular underbody spoilers, and much more.
