Honda has brought an exciting addition to the urban commuting scene with the introduction of the Motocompacto foldable electric scooter.

Priced at a reasonable $995, this compact e-scooter is now available at select Honda and Acura dealerships nationwide, as well as online.

Motocompacto

A Perfect Last-Mile Conveyance

The Motocompacto was designed with the vision of easing the last-mile conveyance for city dwellers and college campus roamers. With a top speed of 15 mph and a range of 12 miles, it's a perfect companion for short-distance travels. The scooter was unveiled in September, reflecting Honda's continuous strive towards innovative and eco-friendly transportation solutions.

Motocompacto

Compact, Foldable and Efficient

One of the major highlights of the Motocompacto is its foldability. When folded, it's compact enough to fit into a car trunk, much like the Motocompo that inspired it. Unlike its predecessor that featured a 49cc engine, the Motocompacto comes with a 490-watt electric motor powered by a 6.8Ah battery. This scooter can be fully charged in just 3.5 hours, making it a convenient choice for daily commuting.

Motocompacto

Sturdy Build and Easy Operation

Weighing 41.3 lbs, with a frame made of heat-treated aluminum, the Motocompacto is not only lightweight but sturdy. Its design allows for stacking, meaning you can easily store more than one in the trunk of your electric vehicle. The scooter's compact dimensions make it an easy carry-on for public transit, and its design prioritizes safety and durability.

Motocompacto

Smart Features for a Smart Commuter

The Honda Motocompacto is more than just a ride; it's a smart scooter. It comes with a smartphone app that provides vital information about the scooter's state of charge, battery health, and a trip calculator, among other features.

Motocompacto

A Step Towards Carbon Neutrality

The launch of the Motocompacto is part of Honda's larger electrification strategy aimed at achieving carbon neutrality. As Jane Nakagawa, VP of the R&D Business Unit at American Honda Motor, stated, this scooter, in conjunction with Honda's new all-electric SUVs, supports the goal of providing end-to-end zero-emissions transport to customers.

Motocompacto

The Honda Motocompacto is a fun, innovative, and efficient way to navigate through urban landscapes while contributing to a greener planet. Check out this cute e-scooter on Honda's website and scoot your way to the nearest Honda dealership to grab yours.
