Since China is the world's biggest market for EVs, Honda has revealed intentions to bring ten EVs to the country over the next 5 years. The e:N Series of forthcoming electric vehicles will include the first 2 models, both of which will be available for purchase in the next spring.

Some of these vehicles may be exported, but the business hasn't decided which ones just yet. The cars will be built on e:N architecture and will have a distinct design concept. Honda didn't disclose much about the platforms, but did state that there will be three different variants, one for front-wheel drive, one for rear-wheel drive, and one for all-wheel drive.

The e:NS1 and e:NP1 are the first 2 models to appear, and they look to be based on the new HR-V. Both of these are crossovers with a similar design that includes a completely enclosed grille, slim headlamps, and a clean interior.

The interior of the cars features a digital instrument cluster and a large entertainment system that is oriented in portrait mode. The infotainment display has been divided into three areas due to its size, with the bottom section allocated for climate controls.

Honda

Honda didn't reveal many details, although the e:NS1 and e:NP1 will have a range of more than 311 miles (500 km). The vehicles will also be able to speed up from 0 to 62 mph (0 to one 100 km/h) in even less than 8 seconds.

The e:N Coupe, e:N GT, and e:N SUV concepts were the show's highlights. All three feature a lot of similarities that stresses crisp lines, slim lighting units, and geometric surfaces, and all three tease impending production versions.

Honda
The stress on electric vehicles isn't unexpected, given that Honda said during the occasion that all models sold in China after 2030 will be electric. However, not all of them will be electric, as the automaker will sell hybrid models as well.
