The new Audi A4 will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show, scheduled for this autumn, but the first spy pictures of the new model are already on the internet
Germans from Audi keep secret all the details of the new generation A4 but the spies are watching them and managed to capture some elements of the interior. In the images, we can see that the glove compartment is different from the current generation and closely resembles a Q7 SUV and VW Passat. The new model also gets a new gearbox lever, a new multimedia system with a touchpad, and a display that, just like in the A8 limo, can be hidden in the glove compartment.
The new Audi A4 will be built on the MLB platform that will allow it to reduce its weight by 90 kg. Also, the new generation will be more spacious due to the larger size providing comfort to passengers. The new generation was scheduled to be presented in 2014 but Ulrich Hackenberg, brand development director was unsatisfied with the design and delayed the launch for 2015.
