Here's the first official image of the new Kia Optima!

The Koreans have repeatedly teased the audience with all kind of new Kia Optima's images but today theyâve published the first official picture!
The new Kia Optima has a very important role in the Korean manufacturer's range that competes with VW Passat, Mazda 6, Ford Mondeo and Opel Insignia. The car closely resembles the concept car Sportspace shown at Geneva in March. At minimum it borrowed design elements from headlamps, radiator grille and bumpers.
The manufacturer declared that the new model will offer passengers more space, an impressive list of features and gadgets found on premium cars, a wide range of engines and the quality of materials will compete with cars from premium-class.
US market will get the engines also found on Hyundai Sonata, ie. gasoline powered 1.6 and 2 liter turbo volume and a 2.4 l naturally aspirated. Europeans will also receive diesel engines, most likely of 1.7 and 2 liters.
