In response to the success of the limited-production My Ami Buggy, Citroen announced the My Ami Tonic, a new special version of their micro EV. The My Ami Tonic is "a toy for grown-ups aged 14 to 77," according to Mathieu Wandon, Head of Graphic Design at Citroen.

The new top-tier trim level stands out with a special paint job and a few extra design touches meant to rev up the car's visual appeal. For the Tonic, Citroen combined hues of khaki and lemon yellow.

The My Ami Buggy and this new Citroen My Ami Tonic vehicle feature the same darkened headlight bezel, plastic wheel arches, front and rear skid plates, and side sill extensions. The window decal displays the GPS coordinates for Stellantis' ADN (Automotive Design Network), which has its headquarters in Vélizy, France.

Interestingly, the (+) on the driver's door and the (-) on the passenger's door represent the battery poles. A smartphone clamp is included as standard features, along with lots of storage containers, nets, and hooks.

The special edition My Ami Tonic is placed at the pinnacle of the My Ami lineup, replacing the previous Khaki and Vibe models. The front wheels are driven by an 8-hp electric engine and the standard 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery still provides a range of 43 miles.

France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Greece, Morocco, and Turkey are among the countries where you may purchase a Citroen My Ami Tonic. Pricing in France begins at €8,990.
