Meet The Half-11: Oilstainlab's Ultra-Rare Porsche-Inspired Roadster

Oilstainlab is stirring up excitement with its daring Half-11 prototype, a roadster that draws inspiration from Porsche but pushes the limits of what a road-legal car can be. Now, the company is taking that audacious design and turning it into an ultra-exclusive production model, with just 25 units planned.

Oilstainlab aims for the production version to generate at least 650 horsepower while weighing in at around 2,000 pounds (907 kg). This means the Half-11 is set to be an absolute rocket.

But wait—there’s more! They’re also cooking up an 850-horsepower fully electric version. For a cool $2.3 million, buyers can opt for both powertrains. The exciting part is that, rather than just replacing the engine, buyers will receive a complete subframe swap, which enables an unparalleled degree of customization. Nikita and Iliya Bridan, the brothers behind Oilstainlab, have experience working with big names like Genesis, Cadillac, Toyota, and Honda, so they know the ins and outs of the industry.

The buzz around the Oilstainlab Half-11 prototype was such that they decided to produce a limited run. The production car will feature a flat-six combustion engine and will sport a unique carbon fiber monocoque. Buyers will also get to choose their favorite color and decide between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed sequential transmission. Multimatic in Canada, the same team behind the Ford GT, will construct these exclusive cars.

“We’ve spent the last four years quietly building our company,” says Nikita. “We’ve gathered a team of passionate individuals from around the globe, each one chosen for their expertise and bold vision.” Now that the project is public, they’re eager to find the right buyers, whom they call “maniacs.” They plan to recruit 11 of these lucky owners to help test and develop the Half-11. So far, six have expressed interest, and they hope the upcoming reveal will attract the final five.

“We’re really building a family here,” Nikita adds, emphasizing that they want to create a tight-knit community. “We don’t want just anyone; we want people who share our passion.” Details about the engine builder, the development team, and the timeline for the first production unit are still in the works.
