Goodwood Who? Goodwood kind of got buried by the Frankfurt Auto Show, but here are some videos for those of you who missed it. (Video)

The Goodwood historic auto races run every year, it is the world's largest annual event that features the most recognized racing cars of all time.

These are cars of immense value from both a historic and cost standpoint and they are raced against each other with total disregard for their historic value.

There is the human character when it comes to racing that just simply dictates you cannot be 'behind' the car in front of you.  We see that on public roads daily and I have done little experiments and no matter how fast I go, sometimes the guy behind you simply CANNOT stay behind.  He MUST overtake and be in front. Guess it is human nature!

Goodwood has its share of bumps and bruises and it pains us to see a near-crash by a Maserati Birdcage or a unique Ferrari suffer a fresh dent in the race.  These cars were built and designed for racing, so it is what they do and the historic nature of the Goodwood races make it an event not to be missed.
