While most of the focus has been on Maserati Grecale lately, the other models haven’t been forgotten. The carmaker has taken the time and came with an announcement regarding the updates on its lineup for 2022. The luckiest ones are Levante, Ghibli, and Quattroporte, who will come with some serious new tweaks to the USA and Canada.

First comes the GT trim, which is said to be enhancing Maserati’s elegance and charm, while bringing a hint of modernism and minimalism, just what the city drivers need. In other words, the changes mean 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels and chrome trim on the outside, and Dark Mirror trim on Ghibli GT on the inside. Quattroporte GT will come with Radica wood and Levante GT will feature the Black Piano trim.

All GT models will be running on a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 345 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. This means that Quattroporte is receiving a new engine, as the 2021 model came with the standard S trim running on a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 424 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. Well, that’s it.

Next in line is the Modena trim, which goes in a more sports-targeted direction, blending dynamism with elegance. You’ll notice the 20-inch alloy wheels, an overall design with black accents, and sportier bumpers. Depending on the model, buyers will be able to choose the Black Piano trim for Levante and Quattroporte or the Dark Mirror for Ghibli.

The 2022 Maserati models with Modena trim will now be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, delivering 424 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. Levante’s owners will be able to choose the optional Modena S trim, which will involve a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, reaching 550 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque.

The top-notch of trims is called Trofeo, coming with maximum performances, carbon fiber trim, a choice between 21- or 22-inch alloy wheels, and spicy red brake calipers. The new Maserati logo will be embellishing the hood, with the Trident badge coming on the C-pillar. Inside, Trofeo will come with Pieno Fiore genuine leather sport seats, with the Trofeo logo on the headrests.

As for performances, Trofeo comes aboard with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, pumping 580 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque.

All 2022 Ghibli, Levante, and Quattroporte models can already be ordered. For how much – Maserati has omitted to specify.
