Genesis GV60 Refresh Brings Style, Tech, And Potential Range Boost

Genesis has refreshed the GV60, giving it a sharper look and more tech ahead of its global release later this year. The front end now sports a sleeker bumper with a slightly lower grille, adding a sportier vibe. Its signature split headlights have been upgraded with Micro Lens Array technology, offering a more modern and precise lighting setup.

New 21-inch wheels and body-colored fenders give the side profile a cleaner, more polished appearance. At the back, Genesis ditched the contrasting silver trim on the rear bumper, opting for a unified color scheme.

Inside, the Genesis GV60 gets a major tech upgrade with a 27-inch integrated cockpit display. It blends the infotainment and instrument cluster into one streamlined screen. A redesigned steering wheel adds to the cabin’s premium feel.

Genesis hasn’t spilled the details yet on powertrain upgrades or pricing, but the previous model used a 77.4 kWh battery—the same as the original Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. With those models now featuring larger 84 kWh packs, it’s likely the Genesis GV60 will follow suit for better range.

Current versions include a rear-wheel-drive model with 225 horsepower and an all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup that delivers up to 483 horsepower with Boost Mode. Expect similar options, possibly with slight performance improvements.

Sales in South Korea are set to begin later this quarter, followed by other markets, including Australia, in the second half of the year. Genesis hasn’t confirmed a U.S. launch date yet.
