Not so long ago, the GMC Hummer EV rolled down the pike, quickly gaining a reputation for being both fast and massive. Weighing in at 9,000 pounds, this extraordinary truck is set to grow even more monumental with an overlanding edifice from EarthCruiser, set to be publicized in August.

Although the teaser photo doesn't reveal any stark differences regarding potential off-road upgrades, this lack of change isn't necessarily a negative aspect. The Hummer EV is already well-equipped with factory items like adjustable suspension, boasting a maximum ground clearance of 11.9 inches. No wonder it seems to have not a single care in the world!

An earlier glimpse of the vehicle came to light in March when an image surfaced, revealing solar panels atop a GMC Hummer body. Now, we've been fed a side-on view, not revealing the entire picture but certainly intriguing enough to spark curiosity.

Evidently, EarthCruiser has something special in mind for this all-electric overlander: a Hummer-specific pop-top. The roof upraises, creating space above the truck, and it appears there's even a porch at the rear. Additionally, the shell seems to fit snugly against the truck's short bed and angled C-pillar, stretching wide from the front of the cab.
