G-Power’s 937-HP BMW XM Is A Hybrid SUV On Steroids
by AutoExpert | 29 July, 2025
The already polarizing BMW XM just got even wilder, thanks to the tuning wizards at G-Power. Never ones to shy away from excess, they’ve taken BMW M’s heavyweight hybrid SUV and turned it into something that’s part rocket, part luxury land yacht.
Let’s talk numbers. The stock XM makes a healthy 738 horsepower, but G-Power wasn’t impressed.

With some software magic—tweaking boost pressure, ignition timing, and a few other secret ingredients—they’ve cranked things up to a jaw-dropping 937 hp and over 1,000 lb-ft of torque. Just in case 168 mph wasn’t quick enough, they’ve also bumped the top speed to 186 mph.

That power is matched by sound. G-Power swapped in new sports downpipes with 200-cell catalytic converters, which not only amp up the exhaust note but also keep things road-legal under Euro 6 standards. So yes, it’ll wake the neighbors — but you’ll still pass emissions testing.

This BMW XM doesn’t just go like a beast. It looks the part too. Teaming up with Mansory (because of course they did), G-Power gave the XM a full carbon makeover: hood, splitter, fenders, skirts, diffuser, rear wing, you name it. The whole thing is painted in a retina-searing orange with black accents, sitting on massive 23-inch Hurricane RR wheels finished in jet black. Inside, customers can go for a full G-Power interior refit if they want the cabin to match the drama outside.

While this particular 937-hp build is a one-off, G-Power offers milder (but still crazy) upgrade kits for the XM: 838 hp, 888 hp, and a future 1,000 hp package featuring their Deeptone exhaust system. These upgrades will also be available for the upcoming G90 M5 sedan and G99 M5 Touring, which use the same plug-in hybrid V8 as the XM.

No official pricing yet, but if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.
