From 10% To 80% In Under 5 Minutes: Nyobolt's New Sports Car Prototype Breaks Charging Records

Charging time is crucial for electric vehicle owners. For that reason, Nyobolt has introduced a prototype sports car that can charge from 10% to 80% in 4 minutes and 37 seconds.
The business boasted that it is "twice the speed of most of the fastest charging vehicles today" and that it would give 120 miles of range in the "first four minutes at a constant current of 500A." But the prototype's 35 kWh battery pack is quite small.
On the other hand, the business boasted that the battery is both portable and fast-charging. Obviously, reducing the size of other batteries could achieve the same results. To counter this, Nyobolt has developed what it calls "next-generation patented carbon and metal oxide anode materials, an innovative low-impedance cell design, and integrated power electronics and software controls" to make their batteries superior.
They assert that their 24.5Ah cells have effectively addressed issues with battery degradation, as they have completed more than 4,000 full DoD rapid charge cycles. This translates to more than 600,000 miles when used in the Nyobolt EV pack, and the cells still retain more than 80 percent of their original capacity.
Collaborating with Callum, they were able to design and engineer the model in a way that allows for low-volume production. Nyobolt has not made any official announcement on this matter, but they have stated that they can begin producing low-volume batteries within a year.
