Ford has presented a complete redesign of the Maverick. All-wheel drive is now available as an option, and the upgrades also include a redesigned appearance, an upgraded infotainment screen, and a rearranged lineup that now includes a special Tremor level!

A 2.5-liter self-charging hybrid engine with 191 horsepower is provided as standard. Future owners may choose between front- or all-wheel drive, and it comes with a continuously variable transmission.

When paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive, the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine produces 238 horsepower, making it an optional powertrain for those looking for additional power. The outward makeover includes revamps to the headlights, grille, and bumper. The portfolio now includes the entry-level XL, the mid-range XLT, the luxury Lariat, and the off-road-focused Tremor, which was an optional package before.

All models now have a new Black Package option that includes a blacked-out grille, roof, emblems, and wheels. Ford has also shown a new color scheme to go along with the exterior. The 2025MY features improved interiors. Ford has replaced the old 8-inch touchscreen with a larger 13.2-inch one, occupying most of the dashboard real estate.

Future owners will enjoy wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on this bigger screen, which is part of Ford's SYNC4 infotainment system. An 8-inch digital instrument cluster is also a welcome addition for drivers. Ford has provided new inside materials and color choices. The 4.5-foot Flexbed of the Maverick is adaptable thanks to its integrated storage compartments, partitions, power outlet, and adjustable tailgate.

There is a reduction in the maximum payload rating for the AWD Hybrid to 1,400 pounds and for the ICE-only Tremor to 1,140 pounds from 1,500 pounds. The standard towing capability is 2,000 lbs, and the 4K Tow Package can increase it to 4,000 lbs. The carmaker will begin accepting orders for the new Ford Maverick on August 1, with delivery commencing in late 2024.

Prices start at $26,295 for the front-wheel-drive hybrid basic model, and that doesn't even account for the $1,595 destination and delivery cost. Compared to the 2024 MY hybrid and the previous Ecoboost, the facelifted variant is $875 and $2,375 more costly, respectively.
