1969 Ford Mustang Mach 40

When an epochal car is being modified, the audience cannot hold its breath to see the result.
The same goes for Mach 40, where the owner, Terry Lipscomb, started his very own Mustang project. It took some time to plan it all and take important decisions, like a front or rear engine, the gearbox, the aluminum body, etc.
The aim was to create a '60s mid-engine Mustang, with genuine details, like windshield, seats, roof, etc.
Lipscomb has had some help from professionals like Mike Miernik and Colton Hardison.
The car's interior is pretty comfortable and even somehow exotic. The seats are taken from a '69 model and slightly modified. The interior is embellished with leather and suede wrappings, in a beautiful vintage style.
The car's power comes from a Ford GT DOHC V8 engine, with a capacity of 5.4 liters working with a six-phase Ford/Ricardo gearbox.
The wheels are Schott aluminum custom made, 18x10 in the front and 19x11 in the back, dressed up in Pilot Sport, P275 / 35ZR18 front, and Michelin Pilot Sport, P325 / 30ZR19 back.
