For Less Money, 2022 Mazda CX-9 Receives Standard All-Wheel Drive

The three-row Mazda CX-9 will come standard with all-wheel drive, much like the majority of the company's CX crossovers and SUVs. A new mid-level trim range is also included. With the reorganization of features comes some adjustments to cost, of course.
This winter will see the arrival of the 2022 models at dealerships. The CX-9's starting price is higher now that front-wheel drive variants are no longer available. The base Sport trim now starts at $36,505, which includes the destination cost.
That's $455 less than the Sport with all-wheel drive, which was an option last year. The $38,655 Touring variant is also $95 less expensive than the all-wheel drive model from the previous year. They've become a little more pricey from there:

- Touring: $38,655
- Touring Plus: $42,885
- Carbon Edition: $44,805
- Grand Touring: $45,665
- Signature: $48,435
The Touring Plus trim level is another recent addition to the 2022 Mazda CX-9 range. It all starts with the Touring trim's Premium Package amenities. The list continues with ventilated front seats, driver's seat memory, black 20-inch alloy wheels, a black grille, aluminum roof rails, and a frameless rear-view mirror.
